In the Synth squad, we are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded Backend Engineer, ideally with some knowledge of data engineering at Spotify to join our team to build our Live Events catalog systems : that's the systems behind surfaces like the live events feed (open.spotify.com / concerts).
What You'll Do
- Evolve and scale Spotify's backend and data pipeline systems for live event ingestion and distribution.
- Ensure that our customers’ experiences are the very best they can be, including Spotify users who discover concerts through our platform and our internal teams who liaise with artists.
- Lead engineering efforts of multi-phase, cross-squad projects for the Bet by facilitating conversations, sequencing work, and assisting other engineers.
- Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by the team, including participating in an on-call rotation.
