- Perform material requirements planning through high interaction/coordination with manufacturing personnel and external suppliers to support the Value Stream(s)
- Obtains supplier and vendor quotes for tooling, material, outside processing (OSP), makes best pricing and schedule decisions
- Own and drive an inventory action plan to maintain proper inventory levels and achieve turns goals of key production components
- Creates, submits, tracks and closes purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Maintains ongoing supplier relationships and orders, provides issue resolution as needed
- Effectively communicates across multiple project teams, providing regular updates to internal teams (Engineering, Quality, Planning, Manufacturing work areas) and tracking order and delivery status with external vendors and suppliers
- Works with Planning Team to shift schedule of material as needed
- Coordinates outside processes: Obtains quotes, schedules trucks to pick up parts, initiates and coordinates shipping logistics with OSP and raw material provider
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Materials-related field or 5 years of working experience
- Strong time management skills
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work, and excel in a dynamic work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- ERP/EPICOR experience preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- This position requires the use of stairs, and occasionally lifting objects up to 120 lbs
Salary : $25 - $40
