- Must be able to work from engineering drawings/CAD files, customer blueprints and specifications in both metal and composite materials
- High proficiency to create and edit G-Code including canned cycles, probing and macros
- Generates robust and thorough setup sheets to ensure success of setup/operators
- Works alongside setup/operators to prove out programs and successful part generation
- High proficiency and experience in machining fundamentals and advanced techniques, cutting tools and exotic materials typical of aerospace industry
- First article verification of dimensions in finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
- Identifies and procures optimal tooling/materials required for machining jobs
- Confer with supervisors or managers to address continued process improvement, resolve machine malfunctions or production non-conformances prior to obtaining approval to resume production
- Maintain open dialogue and positive relationship with machine shop floor staff
- Diagnose and rectify tooling/manufacturability/repeatability problems
- More than 5 years’ experience in the operation and programming of Mill/Turn and Lathe with Live Tooling
- CNC programming using ESPRIT TNG, Mastercam or FeatureCam
- Demonstrated ability to effectively operate shop related tools and equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, drawings and/or technical diagrams – easily hold /-.005” tolerance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
