Composites Foreman - Swing Shift

SUMMARY:

The Composites Foreman will oversee the composites manufacturing operations, specifically focusing on the leads and clean room environments. The Composites Foreman will have a strong background in composite materials and processes, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, lean and efficient workspace. Reports to the Composites Manager.

We are currently offering a $500 signing bonus for this position!

SWING SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 1pm-11pm

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and supervise a team of composite technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards

• Communicate bottlenecks, quality issues, schedule slips, etc to management

• Communicates hiring needs and plan to Composites Manager

• Oversee daily operations within the composites area, ensuring production schedules are met

• Approve schedules for all resources inside of the Composites Shop

• Ensure that the clean room environment is maintained according to company standards and best practices, including cleanliness, environmental controls, and equipment functionality

• Monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and documentation requirements. Work with Quality Supervisor to conduct audits are necessary

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

• Collaborate with engineering and management teams to implement best practices in composites manufacturing

• Deploy 5S initiatives

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, specifically in composites
• Familiarity with clean room protocols and environmental controls
• Strong knowledge of composite manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

• Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools; experience with ERP systems preferred
