SUMMARY:
The Composites Foreman will oversee the composites manufacturing operations, specifically focusing on the leads and clean room environments. The Composites Foreman will have a strong background in composite materials and processes, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, lean and efficient workspace. Reports to the Composites Manager.
We are currently offering a $500 signing bonus for this position!
SWING SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 1pm-11pm

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and supervise a team of composite technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards
Communicate bottlenecks, quality issues, schedule slips, etc to management
Communicates hiring needs and plan to Composites Manager
Oversee daily operations within the composites area, ensuring production schedules are met
Approve schedules for all resources inside of the Composites Shop
Ensure that the clean room environment is maintained according to company standards and best practices, including cleanliness, environmental controls, and equipment functionality
Monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and documentation requirements. Work with Quality Supervisor to conduct audits are necessary
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Collaborate with engineering and management teams to implement best practices in composites manufacturing
Deploy 5S initiatives
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, specifically in composites
- Familiarity with clean room protocols and environmental controls
- Strong knowledge of composite manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools; experience with ERP systems preferred
Must be a U.S Citizen
