Summary
The Composites Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the composites manufacturing process and operations within our aerospace division. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience in composites manufacturing, who can drive production efficiency, ensure compliance with industry standards, comply to customer requirements and lead a skilled team of technicians and engineers. Reports to the Operations Manager.
SWING SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 1pm-11pm

- Responsible for tracking on time delivery and maintaining 85% or better
- Responsible for tracking quality score and maintaining 95% or better
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and throughput while reducing waste.
- Ensures Customer and Regulatory compliance.
- Ensure that all composites manufacturing processes adhere to industry standards and company quality control protocols.
- Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly executive summary and health metric reporting to management
- Supports Customer and Quality audits
- Assists in proposals and CapEx efforts
- Creates and Leads 5S initiatives
- Optimizes and Maintains ERP Schedule. Makes suggestions on burden rates, resource planning, scheduling tools, etc.Required Education: B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or 10 years in a Composites Manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes (e.g., layup, curing, machining), and quality assurance methodologies
- Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
