Summary
The primary role of the Expeditor is to synchronize and facilitate the flow of work and materials between and within a company's departments according to ERP plan. The Expeditor will be in constant communication about schedule and meeting customer deliverables. This position interacts frequently with other departments and vendors including Engineering, Value Streams, and Quality in a fast- paced engineering and manufacturing environment.

- Takes ERP plan and makes sure internal manufacturing and customer deliverables are met
- Interfaces with planning, warehouse, engineering, and quality teams as needed to ensure overall program efficiency
- Works with subcontract vendors to ensure materials are provided in a timely manner to support schedule
- Tracks all internal and external jobs including, but not limited to: shop orders, purchase orders, outside processing, discrepant materials, & customer deliverable due dates
- Prioritizes tasks efficiently and effectively to ensure all assigned programs meet deliverables
- Ensures any schedule slips are communicated globally to respective parties
- Delivers and picks up parts from vendors as needed
- Helps pull inventory and delivers to applicable department
- Helps package and ship parts as required
- Required Education: HS diploma
- Preferred Education: Associates Degree or higher
- Preferred experience: 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong time management skills, ability to excel in a dynamic work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- ERP/EPICOR experience preferred
- Forklift Certified
- This position requires the frequent use of stairs, occasionally lifting objects up to 50lbs
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
