SUMMARY:
Without the strength of our HR team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. We’re seeking an experienced HR Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a HR Generalist. As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on HR Generalist, you will have a strong foundation in HR principles and practices, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration. This role will support various HR functions and initiatives to ensure the smooth operation of our HR department and the overall success of our organization.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across the organization, handling various aspects of employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
KEY REPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Staffing
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruiting sources and employment agencies
- Coordinate new hire orientation programs and documentation
- Track recruitment metrics and maintain candidate database
Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution
- Conduct employee counseling sessions when needed
- Support managers in performance management processes
- Maintain confidential employee records and personnel files
Benefits Administration
- Administer company benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and PTO
- Conduct benefits enrollment sessions and respond to employee inquiries
- Process benefit changes and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with benefit vendors and insurance providers
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain updated knowledge of HR regulations and best practices
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits of HR files and documentation
Training and Development
- Coordinate employee training programs
- Track completion of mandatory training requirements
- Assist in developing training materials and resources
- Support performance review processes
Compensation
- Assist in conducting salary surveys and market research
- Support annual compensation review process
- Maintain job descriptions and salary structures
- Process payroll changes and maintain records
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of HR generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Full-time position in an office environment
- May require minimal travel to other company locations (CA/WA)
- Some flexibility in work schedule may be needed
