- Oversee and execute propellant mixing, casting, and curing processes.
- Ensure precision in loading and integration of propellant into motor cases.
- Work closely with design and test teams to optimize propellant performance and integration.
- Support motor development, qualification, and production efforts.
- Analyze test data and ballistic performance to validate propellant characteristics.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and automation for efficiency and safety.
- Implement and oversee inspection and process control methods, ensuring consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Utilize non-destructive testing (NDT), dimensional inspections, and chemical analysis to verify propellant quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot processing issues, defects, and performance anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including materials engineers, designers, and test engineers.
- B.S. or M.S. Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Typically possesses 5 years in propellant processing, manufacturing, or related energetic materials fields.
- Hands-on experience with casting, curing, and motor integration.
- Strong understanding of energetic materials handling, safety procedures, and quality control.
- Experience with inspection techniques, process validation, and statistical process control (SPC) in propellant manufacturing.
- Knowledge of propellant chemistry, performance modeling, and testing.
- Familiarity with instrumentation, test setups, and data acquisition for propulsion testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance

Salary : $110,000 - $165,000
