Public Health Analyst - Digital Media

Description

In partnership with Bakinaw Federal Contracting, Karna is seeking a Public Health Analyst – Digital Media who will be tasked with providing support to public health programs in the areas of health communication, research, and technical assistance. Specifically, this person will be performing assignments in digital media campaigns and analytics and project coordination activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a digital-savvy individual with interest and experience in public health.

*Note – this is not a data analyst role*

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project areas regarding study activities and protocols
• Organize and analyze data for reports, presentations and publications
• Assist in the review of study data for data quality
• Organize study files, including data and correspondence files
• Perform scientific, medical and research literature searches
• Provide technical and administrative support to multi-disciplinary teams to accomplish public health research and program goals
• Participate in the development of various health communications materials
• Oversees the creation and implementation of digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Monitors digital campaigns to ensure they are meeting goals and uses analytics tools to assess and modify them.
• Helps create visual and written content (such as social media posts and digital ads).
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's required, Master's Degree preferred in public health, social science, or communications?
• 2-3 years of related post-graduate experience
• Experience performing basic data analysis and producing data reports
• Experience with social media content creation and analytics
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office products
• Strong skills in oral and written communication
• Experience with maternal health and/or immunization preferred
