Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and garnishes to provide exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Manage the bar area efficiently, including inventory control and restocking supplies as needed.
- Operate the POS system for processing orders and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Assist in catering events and banquets as required, providing support to ensure smooth operations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, offering recommendations and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Uphold cleanliness standards by regularly cleaning the bar area, utensils, glassware, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with catering services is advantageous.
- Excellent food safety knowledge and certification in food handling are preferred.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
