WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
As a Staff Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will analyze network requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize network performance to ensure scalability and security. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the network infrastructure aligns with the organization's evolving needs. WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Design and Implement Complex Solutions :
Develop and deploy robust network solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of routers, switches, and firewalls.
Resolve highly technical network issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Monitor and enhance network performance while implementing security best practices.
Work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Research and implement emerging networking technologies and trends.
Design and maintain public-to-private cloud network integrations.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING :
Technical Expertise :
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
9 years of experience as a network engineer, with current Cisco CCNP and Palo Alto certifications preferred.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, ASAs, and Palo Alto devices.
Network Security and Technologies :
Proficient in ACLs, IPsec, SSL, traffic inspection, and DDoS mitigation.
Strong understanding of BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, MSTP, HSRP, IPv6, and other technologies.
Exposure to ISP technologies, RIRs, ISP providers, and RADb.
Cloud and Automation :
Experience with Public Cloud technologies and integrations with on-prem hardware.
Proficient in Python, Ansible, and shell scripting for network automation.
Soft Skills and Other Abilities :
Composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
Collaborative and flexible with a customer-focused mindset.
Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
