Shift Schedule:

Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Long Week (5 Days): Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• Short Week (2 Days): Tuesday, Wednesday

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician - Level IV to join our team in Whitakers, NC. This is a hands-on on-site role requiring advanced expertise in mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain chains, rollers, and conveyor systems.
• Replace and rebuild drives, pumps, motors, and gear systems to ensure operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support production goals.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and manufacturing standards.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Expertise in welding, chains, rollers, pumps, and motor repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
• High level of initiative and drive to take on complex challenges.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

• College degree or technical equivalent required.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift

Work Location: In person
