We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team on the 3rd shift. This role involves performing work across multiple maintenance or craft disciplines to ensure machines, mechanical equipment, and facilities are maintained and repaired to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth machine operation and building system efficiency.
- Inspect drives, motors, belts, and other components, and perform required actions, including replacing filters and checking fluid levels.
- Operate and test machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and equipment.
- Use precision tools and instruments for maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Document maintenance and repair activities, including costs and parts used.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by following best practices and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of machines, tools, and maintenance best practices.
- Familiarity with engineering principles and quality control methods.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Work Environment:
- Weekend overtime is common to ensure production support, managed through a rotating schedule.
- Typical rotation: 12 days on, 2 days off (subject to adjustments as the team expands).
