About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of our vendor payment processes and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy. What You’ll Do
Manage all incoming invoices, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
Verify and match purchase orders, packing slips, and approvals.
Prepare weekly check runs and manage electronic payment processing.
Maintain AP records, including invoice files and vendor profiles.
Reconcile AP accounts and assist with monthly close processes.
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer payment inquiries.
Support other basic finance functions as needed during audits or reporting cycles.
Qualifications
2 years of experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping.
Familiarity with accounting systems (QuickBooks preferred) and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external vendors.
Experience in construction, energy, or trades industries is a plus.
