Title: Cashier
Reports To: General Manager
Department: Operations
Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Cashier include a wide range of tasks that keep the store and kitchen running smoothly, from taking orders to adhering to food safety regulations. A successful cashier/server is responsible with a strong work ethic and high level of accuracy while being attentive to customer needs and committed to providing excellent service.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Always waits on customers in a pleasant and helpful manner, escalating any customer dissatisfaction to the manager on duty.
- May take customers food and beverage orders in-person and over phone using ePOS Software
- Answers all telephone calls in a friendly manner using the Company's standard greeting and closure
- Operates cash register and credit card machine
- Checks in retail orders
- Follows all health and safety regulations
- Prices and stocks of all merchandise as directed
- Maintains clean, organized counters, displays, shelves, windows, and coolers
- Sweeps/mops floors daily or as needed; cleans and organizes stock room.
- Cleans and organizes stock room daily
- Empties all trash receptacles and keeps the store and surrounding area free of trash and hazards
- Notifies supervisor immediately any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Friendly and courteous.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math aptitude, ability to count back change manually.
- Able to operate cash registers & calculators.
- Willingness to perform basic manual labor and continuously move about the facility for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Knowledgeable about park features, rules & regulations.
- Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and evenings.
- Must be able to work with minimal/no supervision.
- Should have reliable transportation.
- Possess current food handler's certification.
- Experience with POS or equivalent retail system is preferred.
