Katherines Place is currently looking for an experienced Dietary Assistant Manager.

- YOU MUST BE A CERTIFIED DIETARY MANAGER
- A graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association
- YOU MUST HAVE KITCHEN AND LONG TERM CARE EXPERIENCE
- YOU CAN COMMIT TO BE AVAILABLE ON CALL FOR WEEKENDS
- Are able to reliably commute to and from our job location.
- Can you pass a background check
- Can you provide a valid state id, social security card, I-94 or passport
- Do you possess the ability to make independent decisions
- You must maintain the care and use of supplies and equipment
Schedule:
- 11 am - 7 pm
- 4 on 2 off rotation
- On call
- Must be available on weekends
PS: We need you to be familiar with preparing meals in a long-term - rehab facility or in assisted living.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Dietary Department, its programs and activities.
- Coordinate dietary services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Nursing, Housekeeping, Social Services, etc.).
- Interpret the department’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary.
- Monitor the dietary staff for adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a file of tested standard recipes if directed to do so.
- Well organized with strong time management skills
Experience/Education
- Possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma.
- A graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association. (CDM license)
- Experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
- Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
