Kathy Kuo Home is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager/Director which is a key leadership role in our Ampac facility for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of warehouse operations. This position involves strategic planning, team management, and the implementation of efficient processes to ensure the smooth functioning of the warehouse. The Warehouse Operations Manager/Director plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of team accountability, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and overall operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize warehouse operations in alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to define long-term objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the warehouse.
• Lead, train and manage a team of warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and front-line staff.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Design and implement efficient warehouse processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, implementing improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
• Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Implement best practices for inventory management, including cycle counting, replenishment, and order picking.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize supplier relationships and ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.
• Negotiate contracts with logistics partners to achieve cost-effective shipping and transportation solutions.
• Evaluate and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in warehouse technology.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance overall warehouse performance.
• Implement lean principles and other methodologies to eliminate waste and improve overall effectiveness.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, with a track record of successful leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
