Job Description

Description Summary: The key role of the Strategic Accounts Support position is to provide the Strategic Accounts team with daily administrative duties as it relates to all quotes, sales orders, and logistical organization of each, which ensures that the quoting and order processing flow runs smoothly and with minimal errors.

Responsibilities includes:

  • Garner a productive working relationship with the assigned Strategic Accounts Team Member(s).
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Programs, CRM software, and Phone Systems, with a high concentration of Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and discipline to ensure that daily tasks are completed in order of priority, with minimal supervision.
  • Support the Strategic Account Team Member(s) by processing sales orders, utilizing a great attention to detail to prevent order errors.
  • Follow up with every sales order and communicate estimated ship dates and other necessary or requested information to Strategic Account Team Members.
  • Communicate with customers via phone or email when requested by Strategic Accounts Team Member(s).
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Requires regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills & abilities): To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with experience in an administrative support role preferred.
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency using company specific programs such as Microsoft Programs, CRM software, and phone systems, with a high concentration of Microsoft Excel.
  • Foodservice or restaurant industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written; ability to communicate in a professional and effective manner.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to multi-task.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents. Proficiency in English language is required to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Other Qualifications: Willingness to perform any required task within the employee’s capabilities to effectively meet the needs of the company. Ability to get along well with others.
  • Physical Demands: The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk and listen. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the environment is generally climate controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
