Primary Purpose
Assume clerical duties to support Diagnostic Specialists and Speech Language Pathologists in the fulfillment of their assigned duties to support preparation evaluations and Admission, Review, and Dismissal committees meetings.

Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions; work for multiple supervisors; lift and move confidential files.

Primary Purpose
Assume clerical duties to support Diagnostic Specialists and Speech Language Pathologists in the fulfillment of their assigned duties to support preparation evaluations and Admission, Review, and Dismissal committees meetings.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in maintenance of a confidential audit folder filing system and systematic access by school and district personnel
- Prepare paperwork for initial referrals and reevaluations.
- Assist in assembly of audit folders on new referrals and newly enrolled special education students.
- Order special education supplementary forms and organize storage of the forms.
- Assist with obtaining special education records on new transfer students.
- Assist with monthly input of data on a Microsoft Excel Support Log and submit Director of Special Education.
- Assist in scheduling ARD meetings with campus and related services staff and parents/guardians/adult students and notify staff members through Microsoft Outlook Calendar notices.
- Assist in completion and dissemination of ARD Committee notices on SEAS computer program.
- Secure trained interpreters for evaluations and ARD meeting requiring interpretation.
- Provide assistance to evaluation personnel in contacting the parent/guardian to encourage attendance at ARD meetings.
- Assist with maintenance of a file folder/notebook of completed PEIMS documentation.
- Assist with exchange of audit folders between campuses and the Education Support Complex.
- Attend scheduled Diagnostic Clerk training meetings.
- Assist with an annual inventory of testing equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Other SHARS Duties as assigned.
- Provide Personal Care as identified in applicable student IEPs.
