Katz Coffee is seeking a Professional Bean Counter (Accountant) to help manage our books, support our growing operations, and ensure our grind is fine.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about coffee & people.
As one of three members on the finance team, you’ll be a critical resource for our fast-growing company while doing a little bit of everything from managing APs and collections to preparing financial statements and analyzing data to optimize processes.

Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections to keep our cash flow brewing smoothly.
- Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts with precision.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and record journal entries in QuickBooks, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Month-End Close: Assist in preparing month-end and year-end financial reports, ensuring nothing gets left off the balance sheet.
- Data Management: Maintain organized and accurate financial records for easy reporting and compliance.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to inform better decision making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members across all departments to ensure all processes are running smoothly.
- Problem Solving: Help troubleshoot financial discrepancies and develop solutions to improve processes.
Qualifications:
- Passion for Coffee & Customers: we all share a love for coffee, and are passionate about delivering great customer service.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of accounting experience, specifically in QuickBooks.

Salary : $45,000 - $65,000
