The New Orleans office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an hourly/contract Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience. Labor and Employment or Commercial Litigation preferred. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.
Responsibilities: Manage a litigation caseload by working cases from inception through resolution. Handle extensive discovery practice, court appearances and depositions. Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Qualifications
- 2 years of employment litigation and/or commercial litigation experience.
- JD from an ABA accredited Law School.
- Must be licensed to practice in Louisiana.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong writing, research and communications skills .
- Must be organized and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
