Overview
The Torrance, CA office of Kaufman Dolowich LLP (“KD”), recognized by U.S. news in their list of “Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms”, is seeking a Partner with a minimum of 12 years of experience to join our expanding real estate, corporate, and transactional practice. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide. Portable business is a plus but not required. Candidates with over 15 years of real estate and transactional experience preferred.

Candidates must have general corporate and transactional experience in a law firm setting, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, joint ventures, and drafting and negotiating transaction documents. Real estate contract drafting, review, and contract negotiation experience is required. Candidates must be self-starters and comfortable and capable of interfacing directly with high-net-worth clients and large and/or sophisticated business clients, performing due diligence investigations, and handling all other requirements related to a typical commercial/corporate/real estate transaction up to and through closing.

The total annual compensation range for this position is $225,000 - $265,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to base salary, Kaufman Dolowich offers an annual discretionary bonus, business generation commissions, unlimited PTO, professional and client development and a full comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- J.D. from a top ABA accredited law school.
- Admitted to the CA Bar.
- Extensive experience with commercial, corporate and real estate transactions.
- Superior academic credentials and excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
