Trucking and Logistics Company "Kavkaz Express LLC" is looking for an experienced Cargo Claims Specialist to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Resolve claims in a timely manner
- Analyze and investigate complicated insurance claims to help prevent fraud
- Perform detailed site inspections
- Provide well-informed court testimonies, if necessary
- Negotiate settlements
- Review and process new claims reports and court verdicts
- Uphold relationships and communication with the insurance department and clients
- Organize and present claim review plans
- Stay up-to-date on local, state, and federal law changes in the insurance field
- Take measures to prevent and eliminate violations of the fulfillment of obligations. Involve the appropriate units of the enterprise, if necessary
- Take part in the analysis and evaluation of the activities of the Safety department
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Must have experience handling cargo claims in the trucking industry
- Must be fluent in English
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Talking, hearing, and lifting up to 15 pounds
Salary : $29 - $35
