The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing field sales staff, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving the growth of our captive finance business. Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive retail finance penetration.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed goals.
- Field Sales Team Management:
- Recruit, lead, mentor, and manage a team of field sales representatives across multiple regions.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure the team’s success.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Dealer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Kawasaki dealers to promote retail finance programs and drive adoption.
- Conduct regular dealer visits to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with dealers to develop localized sales initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that support retail finance sales.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including credit, operations, and product teams, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on dealer and customer insights.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including penetration rates, application volume, and approval rates.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address performance gaps.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, preferably in retail finance, powersports industry, automotive finance, or a related industry with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the motorcycle industry and dealer networks.
- Proven track record of high-performing sales teams and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of dealer networks and retail finance operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) to visit dealers and meet with field staff.

- Salary range: $145,000-$155,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
