What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant, Projects position at Kawasaki Rail Car, Inc?
Job Description:
Provides support to the Project Manager and the Deputy Project Manager as related to project management and its various activities.
Interfaces with customers, US vendors, KRC inter-office departments.
Interfaces with Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Japanese vendors.
Ensure and utilize the document and drawing control procedures and practices.
Assist the monitoring and reporting schedule status and progress.
Attends project and engineering meetings and takes meeting minutes.
Prepare or edit project letters prior to their release by the Project Manager.
Job Specifications:
Must be knowledgeable of, and have prior experience in the railcar industry or closely related industry.
Must be detailed oriented with strong problem solving ability. Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills required.
Bi-lingual skills in Japanese/English, a plus.
