Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding jewelry that meets their preferences and needs.
- Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about the features and benefits of various jewelry items.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, handling cash transactions with precision.
- Maintain an organized stockroom, ensuring that inventory is well-stocked and displayed attractively on the sales floor.
- Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with calculations related to purchases, discounts, and returns.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating cash registers or POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport quickly.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and assisting customers with inquiries related to pricing.
