Senior Manager - Internal Communications

The Opportunity:

Reporting to our Chief Communications Officer, the Senior Manager of Internal Communications will help shape and evolve our internal comms function. This individual will join a global tech company and consistently communicate business priorities, reinforce our company values, and empower and excite employees worldwide.

Location: Boston, Massachusetts (near either our Concord or Cambridge office), 2x/week in the office

In this role, you will:

• Create and drive internal comms programs to motivate, engage, and empower employees

• Work in partnership with our People & Culture team to roll out employee programs globally

• Support leaders to help them communicate priorities 

• Build communication assets; e.g. all-hands decks, announcements, newsletter content, video scripts - ensuring that they reflect our global messaging

• Keep a finger on the pulse of employee sentiment worldwide and offer strategies and ideas to ensure KAYAK & OpenTable maintain its reputation as a great place to work

• Bring outstanding tools and creative ideas to the table to shape our internal narrative

• Be responsible for content on our company intranet

• Take a hands-on approach to IC operations including company-wide meetings, office info screens and IT coordination

Please apply if you have:

• 5 years of internal comms experience in-house; agency experience is a plus

• Experience coaching leaders on internal comms

• Comfort working in a data-driven environment; strong project management skills

• A self-starter personality who can move quickly and manage competing priorities

• A strong writer with the ability to create high quality engaging and strategic content

• Flexibility. This is a global role so cross-time zone coordination/communication is expected 

• Passion for using AI to improve productivity and effectiveness
