What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Tax Accountant position at KAYConnect LLC?
Position Title: Sr. Tax Accountant
Length of contract: Direct Hire/Permanent
Location: 100% on-site in Jacksonville FL
Target Rate: up to $140k salary plus 10% bonus
**Candidate must have strong SALT (state and local tax experience). They prefer someone from the Big 4 consulting firms
Education: Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting, MS in Taxation, or CPA
Experience: Optimum candidate will have 4 years' experience in tax preparation in a public or a corporate tax department.
Requirements:
- This position requires a person with excellent organizational skills in a hands-on tax department.
- Extensive spreadsheet (Excel) and word processing skills.
- Knowledge of tax software programs (CCH Axcess and NetSuite G/L).
- Research capabilities using internet, and printed library. Currently using CCH and BNA software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to assist in non-tax areas. This is a small office which affords excellent exposure to companywide issues.
