The Assistant Electrical Project Manager role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to collaborate across departments. The role is designed to develop broader project management knowledge, experience, and career advancement. $5,000 Sign on Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in meeting established milestones and completion dates for projects and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Ability to work on smaller projects independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain exceptional partnerships with vendors and customers
- Assist in tracking deliverables and quality control
- Review and track project activities, including change orders, submittals, tracking logs, and related project documents
- Provide job status updates, financial updates on standard forms comparing budget/bid to actuals; provide projections through the end of the following month
- Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; vocational education strongly preferred
- Two years’ related experience or combination of education/experience
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and communicate effectively throughout the organization and with vendors and partners
- Demonstrated willingness to offer ideas, opinions, and feedback
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
