Job Title: Construction Coordinator
Location: Georgetown, KY, 40324
Remote/On-site/Hybrid: On-site from Day 1
Local or Non-local: Local candidates priority
Duration: 12 months with a possibility of extension
Working Hours: Standard 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
Travel: Yes, 50% (Max) - Domestic Travel only
Overtime: 25% Yes, weekends/Shutdown.
Interview Process: Video interview via MS Teams for 60 minutes (panel interview).
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement building construction projects to support the site.
- Coordinate construction scheduling and communication.
- Manage daily construction and RFI support for construction projects.
- Act as a liaison between infield construction and project management.
- May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials, and purchase orders.
- Supervise construction activity in the field.
- Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.
- Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment delivery, installation, and scheduling.
- Have knowledge of general building construction methods.
- Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets specifications and drawings.
- Coordinate RFIs (Request for Information).
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of experience in construction; 10 years for an ideal candidate.
- Supervisor experience is a must.
- Construction experience is essential.
- Ability to schedule budgets effectively.
- Knowledge of general building construction methods.
- Must possess Steel Toed Shoes, Hard Hat, and Safety Glasses; safety vests when onsite.
- Hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vests will be provided by the client.
