Duration: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion
Open to a hybrid work schedule, work three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and one week from home each month.
Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated Business SOX PMO/Internal Controls Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing end-to-end SOX-level process flows for assigned business processes to ensure compliance with SOX documentation requirements.
You will collaborate with internal teams, leveraging your strong communication skills to ensure compliance and meet deadlines. As a self-starter, you will take the initiative to drive projects forward and support the Senior Internal Controls team in various audit-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare end-to-end SOX-level process flows for assigned business processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with SOX documentation requirements.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a high level of organization in managing multiple tasks and projects.
- Act as a self-starter, taking initiative to drive projects forward and meet deadlines.
- Support the Senior Internal Controls team in various audit-related activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (BS or BA).
- Experience with SOX compliance, either as an auditor or as part of a SOX team, including the preparation of SOX documentation.
- Strong people skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- A self-starter who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management experience (certification not required).
- Preferred experience in the manufacturing industry.
