Certifications

• DOD 8570 IAT-II certification (SEC CE or equivalent) - required certification
• Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) certification
  
  

SHIFT: 100% Full time onsite, Pentagon, Arlington, VA

Primary Responsibilities

• Primary duties will be the maintenance and repair of the equipment, circuits supporting the DRSN at the Pentagon.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• Candidate must be have a TS/SCI security clearance at the start of the work.
• Must be able to work rotating shift schedules and/or standby, if required, to provide 24/7 365 coverage.
• Must have excellent communications skills
• Successful completion of technical training associated with operations and maintenance of the DRSN DSS-2A switch.
• Must be familiar with various encryption devices, e.g. KIV-7, including device substitution, key and re-keying. Must be familiar with performing BERT tests and with test equipment supporting the troubleshooting and maintenance of DISA and DRSN Circuits.
• Must be familiar with the operation and maintenance of all ancillary devices, e.g., ISTs, ECCs, CEUs, MDAs, UMUXs
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with operating records such as circuit history folders, master station logs, trouble tickets (Remedy), outage and restoration records, and DISA reports is highly desirable.
• Possession of a DRSN certification is preferred.
• Experience with handling, disposing, transferring and managing COMSEC.
• Knowledge of or experience in DRSN installations and installation practices
