The Investor Relations position is responsible for providing comprehensive investor support to the Firms LPs, Consultants and Prospects. This role will work closely with Senior Leadership, Sales & Marketing, FP&A, Accounting, Compliance and the Investment Team on fundraising initiatives and all matters related to investor inquiries and due diligence.
General Position Responsibilities:
- Complete questionnaires, data requests, RFPs, DDQs received from investors, consultants, and prospective investors by drafting and completing investment proposals
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on fund(s) of focus
- Liaise with investors as they diligence current and prospective investment opportunities
- Coordinate the qualitative write-ups and quantitative data from external teams for utilization in marketing collateral
- Maintain tracking status of upcoming DDQs, RFPs, fundraising information and ad hoc requests for investors
- Provide relevant and real time feedback on investor perceptions and potential adjustments to ongoing messaging
- Support the growth of a comprehensive investor relations program that successfully targets and secures new investors and ensures the maintenance of productive relationships with existing investors
- All other responsibilities related to Investor Relations which may be assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an investor relations role within investment management
- Prior experience in real estate preferred
- Exceptionally well organized, detail-oriented, flexible, self-starter, who is confident, analytical, technical, and resourceful
- Disciplined with the ability to strictly monitor and adhere to detailed processes related to due diligence requests
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, and with compressed project deadlines
