A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join their team in Fort Meade, MD! You must have a TS / SCI Full Scope Poly and this is 100% onsite! REQUIRED : Knowledge with Linux
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
Aid users in accessing and using IT systems
Configure Cisco / Palo Alto Switches Firewalls
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client / server / storage / network devices
STE / STN Compliance
TS / SCI FSP w / MPO PRIVAC Eligible
10 years experience as SA Bachelors Degree in technical discipline (5 years experience can be substituted for degree)
CWIP Cert : IAT Level 2
NICE TO HAVE : Redhat Certified Engineer (RedHat Enterprise Linux installation (RHEL) : expert level installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting)
Knowledgeable with virtual machines
Setting up IPSEC Tunnels / VPN Tunneling
Knows Ansible (Playbooks)
Knowledgeable with Scripting (Bash / Other)
Automation
Cabling, Documentation, Rack & Stack
IAVA Patching
Familiar with Containerization (Dockers / Kubernetes)
