Currently seeking a Quality Control Supervisor for a motivated and hands-on Quality Control Supervisor. Great "next step" for a Senior Quality Tech or QC Lead.
Quality Control Supervisor Tasks:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Quality Control (QC) team.
- Act as the primary QC representative in communications with customers/suppliers.
- Collaborate with production/operations teams to enhance product quality/resolve any issues.
- Develop, implement, and update quality control procedures/documentation.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives both within the company and across the supply chain.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term solutions to quality issues.
- Manage/maintain quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory/industry standards.
- Provide training/guidance to QC team members on testing procedures/QC tools.
- Support overall business goals with tactical action plans related to quality control.
- Work closely with the Regulatory and Compliance Management teams to ensure adherence to all regulations.
Quality Control Supervisor Profile:
- 5-7 years of quality control experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Background in processing manufacturing (food, chemical, or related industries is preferred).
- Associate’s degree or technical background in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field. BS in Chemistry is a PLUS.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
