Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper Port Washington

Kids' Ages: 2.5-year-old boy and 8-month-old girl (Occasional Childcare)

Compensation:

$25-28/hour

Schedule:

Schedule: ✔️ 5-6 days per week (Sunday off, ideally need help Friday and Saturday)but can do Monday-Friday ✔️ Typical hours: 9AM-6PM ✔️ Occasional overnight help with children if mom is traveling with advance notice

Description:

Responsibilities:
Cleaning

• Kitchen: Morning (after breakfast) and evening (after dinner)

• Bedrooms: 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms (3 in use)
• Living spaces: Maintain cleanliness in common areas and high-traffic zones
• Laundry: Family laundry and linens
• General tidying and organization
• Deep cleaning of home

• Mop/vacuum floors (upstairs and downstairs)
• Dusting throughout the home
• Pantry and closet organization

• Special projects as needed

Cooking

• Prepare one large kosher meal daily (no shellfish)

• Simple, nutritious meals for the children

Occasional Childcare

• Assist with very limited childcare, such as monitoring the baby monitor at night if mom is traveling (Ideal but not required)

• Collaborate with the family’s full-time nanny, who manages all primary childcare responsibilities.

Requirements:
✔️ 5 years of professional housekeeping experience (must have references from long-term families)
✔️ Warm, flexible, and proactive with a positive attitude
✔️ Must have strong cooking skills
✔️ Ideally able to travel internationally (preferred but not required)
✔️ Ideally able to drive (preferred but not required; a car is provided if needed)
✔️ Must be comfortable working in a family-oriented environment with young children
