We are looking for an experienced Pipelayer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying and connecting underground utility pipes, ensuring that all connections are secure and that all safety regulations are followed. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the tools and techniques used in the underground utility pipe installation, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to further their career in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Read and implement blue prints for underground utility pipes.
- Set up laser with grades and verify all slopes.
- Install, maintain, and repair underground utility pipes for storm drains and storm structures (Concrete and PVC ), sanitation sewers (PVC and Ductile Iron), drains, and water mains (PVC and Ductile Iron), Seal joints (storm drain, water/fire line, sanitary sewer line).
- Dig trenches for the installation of underground utility pipes and structures.
- Inspect and test underground utility pipes for leaks or other problems.
- Maintain records of underground pipe installation and repair work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
