Key Responsibilities
- Project Management & Scheduling:
- Plan and oversee renovation projects from start to finish.
- Create and maintain detailed schedules for employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Anticipate and resolve project challenges to ensure timely delivery.
- Hands-On Trade Expertise:
- Provide training and guidance to teams using advanced trade skills.
- Step in to perform trade-specific tasks when necessary.
- Bring and maintain a personal set of professional tools for on-site use.
- Plan Interpretation & Implementation:
- Read and execute construction and design plans with precision.
- Communicate design intent to subcontractors to ensure accuracy.
- Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead teams of subcontractors and employees, fostering collaboration.
- Resolve conflicts and maintain accountability for project outcomes.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to Florida building codes and high-quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the on-site liaison for clients and designers, providing regular updates.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- Proven experience managing high-end residential renovations.
- Proficiency in multiple trades with the ability to perform tasks as needed.
- Strong understanding of Florida building codes and permitting.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and employees effectively.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Must supply your basic hand tools.
- Preferred Skills:
- 10 years of residential construction experience, including leadership roles.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management software for scheduling and documentation.
- Experience working with high-end clientele and managing their expectations.
