Job Summary:
Maintenance Technician assists the Senior Maintenance Technician, and the Maintenance Manager with the general upkeep and repair of the company facilities, & vehicles including commercial trucks, semi's, and general production equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties / Responsibilities:
· Employee must be always conscious of safety and cleanliness.
· Employee should understand all policies and procedures within the maintenance department.
· Employee must be proficient in welding.
· Employee must possess the willingness and ability to train other employees on all maintenance operations.
· Employee must have the ability to accurately prepare all maintenance paperwork on a timely basis.
· Employee must be constantly conscious of the safety of other personnel and equipment.
· Employee must demonstrate the ability to communicate all needs with other workers..
· Employee must continue to listen, learn, and teach.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Minimal skills, knowledge and ability include:
· Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe as possible.
· Employee must be able to read a tape measure.
· Employee must understand all vehicle/truck maintenance.
· Employee must know how to maintenance air compressors.
· Employee must have prior plant and vehicle maintenance experience.
· Employee must learn how operations work in other departments.
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent or previous maintenance experience.
· Proficiency in all common tools of the trade and vehicle maintenance requirements.
· Trade or Technical Schooling is a plus
· Employees at this level typically have a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
