Role Overview:
KBPR is seeking a resourceful, organized, and editorially-savvy Editorial Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone with 2–3 years of experience in PR or editorial, who is passionate about press strategy, storytelling, and elevating emerging and established brands through meaningful media coverage. You’ll support day-to-day press operations, draft and distribute pitches, manage sample requests, and maintain media relationships across digital, print, and social-first publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and distribute editorial pitches across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle verticals
- Maintain media contact lists and regularly update editor databases
- Track and compile coverage across print, digital, and social platforms
- Support in drafting press releases, brand bios, fact sheets, and talking points
- Manage and respond to media sample requests and oversee product deliveries
- Coordinate with the VIP and influencer teams to align on press and placement moments
- Research relevant editorial opportunities, upcoming themes, and cultural moments
- Assist in the development of PR strategy decks, pitch calendars, and media reports
- Monitor the media landscape to identify new editors, contributors, and freelance talent
- Support in planning and executing press previews, appointments, and editor desksides
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–3 years of experience in PR, communications, or editorial (agency or in-house)
- Excellent writing and communication skills with a sharp editorial eye
- Comfortable pitching editors and confident in follow-ups
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Working knowledge of Cision, Muck Rack, or similar media platforms
- Passionate about fashion, beauty, and lifestyle media
- Aware of digital trends, media shifts, and evolving publication formats
- Enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced boutique agency environment
- Existing relationships with editors and freelance contributors
- Experience with fashion and/or beauty PR across different brand tiers
- A background in journalism, editorial internships, or content writing
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
