Job Summary
The Operations Specialist will manage equipment and stock supplies, ensure accurate records, and facilitate tool and material movements. Key tasks include receiving and inspecting equipment, maintaining inventory, performing lab and office maintenance, and ensuring timely product delivery. Adherence to policies and procedures is essential for quality and cost control. The position requires 100% on-site support at our Morris Plaines, NJ location.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Receive, identify, and inspect equipment.
- Handle stock supplies: receive, create, record, put away, issue, and maintain.
- Manage Capital-Owned tooling: pull, deliver, and return to storage areas.
- Perform physical movements between storage locations.
- Maintain accurate records in the business system.
- Communicate discrepancies between departments.
- Perform maintenance tasks in lab and office areas (e.g., mopping, vacuuming, assembly, relocation of equipment, clean-up, organization, repairs).
- Support Laboratory 5S activities as needed.
- Maintain toolboxes, ensuring proper tool locations and adequate inventory distribution.
- Manage perishables, tooling (e.g., drills, hole saws), and industrial supplies.
- Oversee reporting with customer/management to optimize on-hand inventory of operating supplies.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Follow established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- HS Diploma, or equivalent.
- Strong PC skills especially with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP, EBP, and eQuip.
