KBR’s Defense Systems Engineering (DSE) business unit is seeking to hire Electronic Technician III to join our Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Operating Unit. CIP provides expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) and Utilities / Control Systems for the DoD, FAA, and Federal Law Enforcement.
Job Summary :
This position will independently plan and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on complex electronic intrusion detection systems. You will serve as an expert in intrusion detection systems that include video (IR and day), access control (card readers and keypads), RADAR perimeter security, intrusion detection (PIR and BMS), mass notification equipment and a variety of communication networks.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Typical duties include :
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on intrusion detection and surveillance systems of various types and manufacturers
- Recommend solutions to design problems.
- Perform system tests and analyzing results, modifying equipment or installations to improve performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned

This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position.
Basic Compensation : 35.86 per hour
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and / or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
