Job Description
The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is a logistics and maintenance services provider to the U.S. Marine Corps.
The Hazardous Material Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities related to hazardous materials, including identification, collection, transportation, processing, packaging, and storage.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and customer requirements.
- Manage regulatory and legislative environment requirements for hazardous material handling procedures.
- Provide reports on hazardous material storage, distribution, disposal, and regulatory considerations.
Key qualifications include:
- AA degree in safety or environmental engineering, health education, or a related field.
- Directly related work experience in hazardous materials management.
- OSHA certification and completion of a Hazardous Materials/Waste Course.
