The position will be based in KBRA’s Frederick, Maryland office.

The anticipated annual base salary range for these full-time positions is $65,000 to $75,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.

Key Job Requirements
- Create and maintain excel spreadsheets while also working with KBRA’s AI team to build more efficient data gathering processes.
- Support the tracking and analysis the financial performance of rated financial institutions which includes in-depth analysis of financial statements and presentations from financial institutions and banks to develop rating recommendations.
- Aggregates and summarizes data that will be used in committee memos, detailed research reports, and analytical materials including quantitative and qualitative assessments to support rating decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to assist in the preparation of comprehensive industry reports.
- Assist in the preparation and attendance of management meetings with c-suite members.
- Assist in the monitoring of a portfolio of financial institutions to identify and assess significant developments.
- Provide support to the team in conjunction with preparing, editing, and publishing of press releases and reports as well as archiving key data related to the ratings process in accordance of regulatory and company policies.
- A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business is desired
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytical role or internship.
- Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication, as well as advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, as well as take initiative and work independently.
- Organized and highly detail-oriented, accustomed to allocating time to double-check work.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.
- Naturally inquisitive and strong desire to develop analytical skills.
