Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a local client in Northampton, MA area that is searching for an Accountant. Our client is very motivated to hire and is seeking a candidate that can start immediately. This a direct hire opportunity.

The responsibilities for the Accountant will include but will not be limited to:

• Assist in month end close
• AP/AR
• Billing
• Invoicing
• Journal entries
• Payroll
• Financial reporting
• Assist with budgeting
• Assist with audit
  
  

The ideal candidate for the Accountant should have experience that meets the following requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance preferred
• 2 years of experience or a relevant internship
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
