Job Description
- Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cash applications and collections processes.
- Develop, implement, and drive AR policies and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables.
- Manage and support the AR team responsible for collections and cash applications, ensuring effective execution of their duties.
- Monitor aging reports and key AR metrics, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to streamline invoicing and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards, assisting with audits and reconciliations as needed.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to optimize AR processes and reporting.
- 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related financial roles.
- Prior experience managing or leading an AR team.
- Strong understanding of AR processes, cash applications, and collections management.
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to implement process improvements and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
