KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a local client in the Springfield, MA area that is searching for a Controller. Our client is very motivated to hire and is seeking a candidate that can start immediately. This a direct hire opportunity.

The responsibilities for the Controller will include but will not be limited to:

• Management of all Finance/Accounting operations
• Job costing
• Financial Statement prep and analysis
• Cash management
• Month end close
  
  

The ideal candidate for the Controller should have experience that meets the following requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required
• 7 years of relevant experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
