Corporate Controller

Responsibilities

KBW Financial has formed a strategic partnership with a reputable organization based out of Maynard, MA that is actively looking to add a Controller to their team! The Controller will report into the CFO, and assist with consolidations, budgeting/forecasting, M&A, and other duties as assigned. The Controller will perform the following:

• Oversee the creation and dissemination of both internal and external financial statements
• Manage the coordination with external auditors to streamline audit procedures and supervise regulatory reporting and tax compliance efforts
• Spearhead the budget planning and forecasting activities
• Establish and uphold internal controls while developing risk management strategies
• Support external stakeholders in conducting financial due diligence and managing the integration of acquisitions
• Cultivate a results-driven environment within the accounting team
• Support the selection process and lead the implementation of financial systems
• Utilize cost accounting principles to evaluate manufacturing expenses, inventory, and cost discrepancies
