KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a $100m publicly traded manufacturing company that is in rapid growth mode who is seeking a dedicated professional for a key role at their corporate headquarters in Andover, MA. With manufacturing plants throughout the country and a foreign subsidiary, this position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment.
This is a hybrid opportunity reporting to the CFO and working closely with all departments within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring all assumptions are clearly documented.
- Manage the sales & operations planning process, acquiring inputs from sales and operations, and critically reviewing these inputs to ensure adequate planning for expected volumes.
- Prepare and present management reporting packages promptly, including commentary to identify risks and opportunities.
- Track, analyze, and report on product, customer, and channel performance.
- Monitor key metrics in a manufacturing environment.
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly reporting dashboards for senior management on sales, backlog, and bookings performance.
- Collaborate with the cost accountant to establish and maintain standard cost estimates for all inventory items.
- Calculate and provide cost build estimates for new products in development.
- Ensure item pricing aligns with costs to meet margin targets.
- Update standard costs quarterly.
- Review capital expenditure requests and track authorizations.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
- Experience with NetSuite planning and budgeting is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior analytical abilities
- Knowledge of cost accounting
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial analysis
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
