- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial data from diverse jurisdictions to maintain integrity in reporting.
- Prepare and validate journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting records, factoring in currency fluctuations.
- Conduct intricate reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany balances, and accruals across global entities.
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements, incorporating translation adjustments for multi-currency operations.
- Strengthen internal controls to protect assets and ensure compliance with US GAAP and global standards.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency in a multi-entity, global context.
- Collaborate with external consultants to develop and execute tax strategies, including transfer pricing and royalty structures.
- Provide analytical insights through ad hoc analyses to support strategic decisions across global operations.
- Oversee digital recordkeeping and compliance processes, ensuring readiness for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certifications: Active CPA certification required.
- Experience: 8 years in accounting, with expertise in general ledger management, multi-entity financial closes, and transfer pricing.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (experience with MS Dynamics a plus).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, lease accounting, and foreign exchange accounting preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work independently and partner effectively with global teams and external advisors.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and proactive with a commitment to ethical standards.
- Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, sense of humor, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
